The president of AITEX, Rafael Pascual and the Director of the Alcoy Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València, Juan Ignacio Torregrosa, presented the Awards for the Second Edition of the Home Textile Design and Development Competition organised by the AITEX Chair – UPV.

Industry 4.0 applied to the textile sector allows us to combine flexibility and efficiency in production, leading to cost reductions, shorter lead times and reductions in raw materials and energy consumption, coupled with less waste for more sustainable processes.

AITEX attends the Congress of Representatives: “Technology Centres: key agents for innovation and business competitiveness”.

The seminars aim to bring about knowledge transfer to companies in crossover areas of interest, and to facilitate the implementation of actions and projects to improve competitiveness. AITEX works together with companies and specialised consultants in each of the themes.

This training has been taught either in the applicant’s own facilities itself, in the AITEX facilities, or a mixture of both. 267 students have been trained over a total of 954 training hours.
