Applied innovation and collaboration between research and innovation centres are essential to addressing the new challenges facing industry. Against this backdrop, AITEX took part in MeetechSpain 2026, the leading event for technology centres organised by FEDIT, held in Madrid on 14 and 15 October.

During the event, AITEX had its own stand, where it showcased its technological capabilities and developments aimed at enhancing business competitiveness and fostering knowledge transfer to industry.

Under the theme“Made in Spain, ready for other worlds”, this edition of MeetechSpain 2026 focused on Spanish technologies applied to the aerospace sector and habitability in extreme environments, highlighting how research and innovation can contribute to addressing the industrial and societal challenges of the future.

Representing AITEX at the event were Vicente Blanes, General Manager; Marta Albert Tolsá, European R&D Projects Technician; and Mauro Seguí Pons, R&D Technician. Over the two-day event, they had the opportunity to share experiences and establish new connections with representatives from technology centres, organisations and institutions involved in innovation.

AITEX’s participation in MeetechSpain 2026 also provided an opportunity to strengthen ties with representatives from organisations including FEDIT, the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and REDIT, fostering knowledge exchange and creating new opportunities for collaboration.

Through its presence at MeetechSpain 2026, AITEX continues to bring its research and innovation capabilities closer to companies, promoting technology transfer and collaboration as key tools for building a more competitive industry that is better prepared to meet future challenges.
