AITEX is attending the A+A trade fair once again this year to showcase all the certification and laboratory testing services it offers for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The A+A occupational safety trade fair actively contributes to progress and innovation for the benefit of individuals and companies, and is the leading trade fair in the sector.
A+A is the largest and most important trade fair for professionals in occupational risk prevention, safety and health at work. Both the fair and the congress highlight all aspects of safety and protection, in particular innovative products, the latest trends and scientific discoveries.
AITEX is Notified Body No 0161, for Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment, which establishes the essential health and safety requirements to be met by personal protective equipment. The Centre certifies protective clothing for the hands and arms, respiratory, head, eye and face protection and fall protection.
The accreditation covers EU type examination certificates (module B), type conformity based on internal production control, supervised random product controls (module C2) and type conformity via production Q&A (module D).
