RESEARCH INTO SOCIOCULTURAL AND MARKET TRENDS IN HABITAT TEXTILE DESIGN.
VALHABITAT 2024
Motivation
Since 2005, prospective and strategic studies have been conducted for various companies in the sector, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Quantitatively, studies of the Home Textile Market are carried out, monitoring consumer behavior in order to identify their needs. From a qualitative perspective, two lines of action are developed. On one hand, changes and needs in the HABITAT are identified in collaboration with the Habitat Trends Observatory (HTO). On the other hand, the qualitative changes of Home Textile products are addressed by monitoring socio-cultural and market changes, analyzing their specific impact on these products.
The aforementioned information is essential for the development and launch of different products or the generation of new business lines in the sector. During 2024, AITEX intends to continue with these prospective studies, both in the qualitative and quantitative approach, related to the HABITAT and focused on the Home Textiles sector.

Objectives
Promote strategic design among companies in the home textile sector, providing them with prospective and strategic information on qualitative (design) and quantitative (TH market study) and disseminate the results through Webinars, workshops and exhibitions.
