MODULAR AND MULTI-SECTOR EUROPEAN DIGITAL PRODUCT PASSPORT SOLUTION FOR THE VALENCIAN INDUSTRY
MULTIPASS
Motivation
MULTIPASS is a project focused on developing an innovative Digital Product Passport (DPP) solution to improve product traceability, sustainability and transparency throughout the entire value chain. Through an interoperable digital platform based on advanced technologies such as blockchain and verifiable credentials, the project will facilitate the management and exchange of product lifecycle information while adapting to different industrial sectors. Led by ITI and involving AITEX and other leading technology centres, MULTIPASS will validate its developments in real industrial environments to drive the digital and sustainable transformation of the Valencian industry in line with new European ecodesign and circular economy requirements.
Objectives
Develop a modular and interoperable Digital Product Passport platform that enables companies to capture, manage and share reliable product information throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with upcoming European regulatory requirements and supporting the transition towards more sustainable and circular production models.
Expected results

Development of a technology architecture based on European standards for the implementation of the Digital Product Passport.

Integration of enabling technologies such as blockchain and verifiable credentials to ensure information traceability, integrity and security.

Definition of common data models to enable interoperability across industrial sectors.

Validation of the solution in real environments with companies from different sectors in the Valencian Community.

Creation of an adaptable platform that can be integrated with existing business systems (ERP, PLM, etc.).

Promotion of DPP adoption within the Valencian industrial ecosystem, supporting regulatory compliance and process digitalisation.
