DISSEMINATION OF ADVANCED AND SUSTAINABLE HIGH VALUE ADDED SOLUTIONS FROM THE TEXTILE SECTOR IN HABITABLE SPACES

Motivation
The project aims to foster the development of innovative textile solutions that address the emerging needs of the habitat sector, where functionality, sustainability, and comfort play a central role. It also seeks to respond to the growing demand for low environmental impact materials, smart technologies, and decorative proposals that provide added value in both residential and contract environments. Finally, the project aims to promote knowledge transfer to companies in the sector through the creation of a demonstrator space that enables the visualization, testing, and evaluation of new textile applications under real-use conditions.

Objectives
The main objective of the project is to research and develop new high value‑added and innovative textile solutions applied to interior design within the habitat sector. The project focuses on the development of sustainable materials, advanced textile technologies, and design concepts that enhance the functionality, comfort, and environmental efficiency of habitable spaces.
Expected results

Development of new textile materials and solutions with advanced properties (acoustic, smart, sustainable) applicable to interior design.

Creation of innovative decorative proposals based on textile technology, aimed at providing added value to the habitat sector.

Establishment of a demonstrator space acting as a platform for dissemination, validation, and technology transfer to companies and professionals in the sector.

Generation of technical knowledge and methodologies applicable to future developments in textile materials for the habitat sector.
