In April, the EU updated the list of standards to be used as test methods to demonstrate compliance with nickel release according to REACH Annex XVII, entry 27.

On the 16th December 2020, the European Commission published the Official Journal of the European Union, including Commission Regulation (EU) 2020/2096, which modifies Regulation (EC) nº1907/2006 REACH Annexe XVII.
Annexe XVII of REACH describes the restrictions on manufacturing, selling and use of certain substances.
