PARTNERSHIP ON AITEX R&D PROJECTS FOR TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER AND IMPLEMENTATION
TEXTRANSFER 2025
Motivation
TEXTRANSFER aims to lay the methodological foundations that favour the transfer of knowledge to the market of the R&D projects developed at the Textile Technological Institute, which is of vital importance for the business fabric of the Valencian Community.
Establishing and monitoring the methodology will enhance competitive intelligence, the commercialization of technology in the market and the contribution of innovative solutions to the great economic and social challenges not only of the present, but also of the near future.
Given the results achieved in the last year, it is considered necessary to continue with the project to maximize the transfer of knowledge and technology developed by AITEX’s R&D.
Objectives
To reinvigorate the knowledge transfer activities created by AITEX’s R&D by carrying out various actions to facilitate the promotion and transfer of this knowledge to companies in the Valencian Community, to add value, improve their competitive advantage and ultimately lead the market.

Enhances trust and legal certainty in transfer processes through clear protocols aligned with European standards.
Obtained results

Consolidation of the TEXTRANSFER model as AITEX’s own structured system for technology transfer.

Development and implementation of a Technology and Commercial Readiness assessment tool (TRL/CRL), systematically applied to R&D projects.

Personalized support provided to more than 30 R&D projects, addressing value proposition definition, stakeholder identification and exploitation opportunities.

Preparation of a Conflict of Interest Management Handbook, strengthening governance and transparency in technology transfer processes.

Analysis and knowledge generation on the strategic use of artificial intelligence in knowledge and technology transfer activities.

Strengthening of human capital and institutional positioning through specialized training and participation in international networks.
