AITEX is working on the research and development of the following projects: DENTALTEX II, FUNDETEX, BIENESMART y STAR.

This year is the second time AITEX has participated in the Cosmetorium Fair held on October 23th and 24th at the Fira Montjuïc in Barcelona.

TPTex focuses on preventing injuries and improving health, by researching the use of textile applications for compression garments used during sport and physical activity.

On the 24th of October, the first event to boost the textile sector, organised by the AITEX UPV Chair, ATEVAL and ACETEX.

On Friday, October 11, AITEX and ATEVAL organised the second AITEX Olympics at Ontinyent Municipal Sports Centre. The aim of the day is to make young people aware of the textile sector as a future innovative employment prospect.

Health is a very important aspect of people’s lives and the TPTex project aims to improve health through the relationship between textiles and physical activity in diseases that require compression stockings in the lower limbs.

AITEX’s Technical Finishes, Environment and Health Research Group, together with manufacturers has been investigating different eco technologies and the use of natural products, analysing the advantages and limitations they represent.
