The recognition given to AITEX is part of the active relationship it has maintained with the University of Alicante for more than 25 years in areas related to the textile industry

This year’s AITEX Challenge had the highest participation rate in history, with more than sixty-four different projects.

The event was held at Casa Mediterráneo in Alicante on June 2 and 3, 2022. The objective was to boost the textile, footwear and leather sectors of the Mediterranean Basin.

For three decades, OEKO-TEX® has pursued the goal of building trust for companies and consumers and enabling them to make responsible decisions to protect people and the planet.

More than a hundred professionals from the cosmetics sector attended the meeting under the theme “Sustainable cosmetics: a trend or social conscience?”

To ensure that products are biodegradable and harmless to the environment, different test methods have been developed to determine the biodegradability of textiles.

It´s a promising material characterized by a soft structure and a velvety touch.

The Business Awards are one of the actions instigated by AITEX to promote the dynamisation of the business community in textiles and other sectors.
