 Geosynthetics are materials that are used to make civil engineering projects possible or better. The prefix geo- as used in this type of product, implies a final use in or on the soil.
These materials are required to comply with a series of regulations related to their application in construction.
As well as this, all of these products must carry the EC seal. The EC seal is an obligatory certification for products manufactured in the EU. The first step in obtaining this seal is testing carried out at a laboratory that is independent from the manufacturer.
The AITEX geotextile and geosynthetic laboratory is equipped with all the necessary instrumentation to carry out every test that is required:
 Product characterisation tests which allow objective confirmation that the products comply with all the requirements of the application. Testing to award the EC seal.
