This Offers a service which has been designed specifically to meet the needs of special requests from our clients in the field of ongoing or periodic development of quality control systems for textile products. Its main characteristics are:

A rapid continuous service. Depending on the type of service contracted by the client, results can be available in 3-5 days.
Qualified personnel to carry out the tests.
  Cutting-edge laboratory equipment.
All tests are carried out under the latest regulations.
Personalised reports sent to each client, according to requirements

Textile articles are being subjected to ever more stringent quality controls.

Why use this test facility?

Some parameters must be met as a legal requirement. The label must inform the buyer correctly and clearly on the composition and characteristics of the article and the symbols must be correct. Garments must also be free of irritants or other products harmful to health.

Many articles are incorrectly labelled; either the label does not show the composition in the appropriate manner, or safety regulations are not met. This could lead to the article being declared on the Alert Network, which has grave consequences for the manufacturer and distributors. Once an article has been declared thus, its sale is temporarily prohibited and it must be withdrawn from sale.

Therefore, it is vital that the quality of the product is of the highest possible order.

WORK LINES

LÍNE 1: GARMENT AND SUPPLIER TEXTILE QUALITY CONTROL

Clients have many suppliers who provide them with products. The client will require all its suppliers to send samples to AITEX, so that quality control tests can be carried out and the article can be cleared. These tests are carried out before the client purchases products from the supplier. The supplier shall send several samples and a technical report to AITEX. This report contains all the necessary data to identify the product being analysed. AITEX draws up these reports specifically for each client. The samples are tested and a further report is written which outlines the tests carried out, the regulations applying to the product, the final results and the tolerances allowed by the client: It also contains photos and all other necessary data. The report, signed and stamped by the director, is sent first by e-mail and then by post.

The supplier pays the costs of the analysis.

The length of time taken to deliver the results will depend on the volume of samples, but is normally within 3-5 days.

LÍNE 2: MONTHLY IN-SHOP CONTROL

The client may wish to have control over the products in the shops, to ensure that they are being sold correctly: This is a monthly check.

The client shall select, each month, a selection of articles and send them to AITEX, with all the correct labels and identification.

The same steps as the previous control are followed and a report is produced per article and forwarded by e-mail and then post.

The client pays the costs of the analysis.

As this control is monthly, the results are supplied within 10-15 days.

LÍNE 3: SEASONAL IN-SHOP CONTROLS

Very similar to line 2, with the only difference being that the controls are seasonal and the client supplies samples twice a year.
The client pays the analysis costs.
Results are supplied in approximately 15 days.

LÍNE 4: CHILDRENSWEAR SAFETY

AITEX also offers the possibility of carrying out detailed testing on childrenswear. These garments often fail to meet the necessary safety requirements, putting babies and young children at risk. We offer the following services:

Testing under regulation UNE EN 71-1 sub sector 8.4 "Traction testing on small samples" on "production samples".
Assessment and check that a product fulfills UNE-EN 14682 :2004 on cords and laces in samples.
Checking all parameters to ensure that the article poses no threat to babies or young children.
