INVITATION
In October 2010, the city of Alcoy will host the 4th International Congress “Competitive Innovation, Research and Technology based-solutions”, which will take place on the 26th, 27th and 28th of October, 2010 at "Círculo Industrial de Alcoy"
This 4th International Congress aims to be a forum for debate and presentation of the latest innovations in the textile sector in different areas and disciplines of R&D in applied technologies. This is considered to be a unique opportunity to establish new contacts on an international level and exchange experiences on the state of the art and future challenges that our sector will face.
The outstanding results obtained from the preceding editions serve as a motivation, when more than a hundred companies within the sector attended. We hope to welcome many more to the congress this year; mainly technicians and company owners, technologists and researchers from any country. This justifies the need to select the speakers who will bring to the congress innovative and technically valuable knowledge that can be applied to the sector. We already have recognised and prestigious researchers and technicians who will share with us practical case histories during the congress.
We keep on a simultaneous translation in two languages (Spanish-English) that we hope will favour an international participation at the event.
I would like to invite you to send the title and an abstract of the experiences, research and/or technological developments you wish to share with businessmen, scientists and technical researchers working in the sector in one of the areas defined in the programme.
Finally, I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that AITEX will cover all accommodation costs for the three days that the congress lasts as a show of thanks for your support. The programme will also include a range of social activities in the host city of Alcoy that are yet to be confirmed. These will give you the opportunity to establish new contacts while you enjoy the setting of the city. Among others there will be a cocktail for all the speakers on the night of the 27th of October.
